Boker Solingen Top Lock with Thuyawood Inserts In Handle 703 in 420HC
This discontinued and rare knife is from the mid 1990's with African Thuyawood inserts which make this aluminum handled knive a little special with it's plain edged blade.
TOP LOCKS Designed in Germany by Dietmar Pohl, these are made in the Boker plant in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They feature a lightweight cast aluminum body (closed length 4-3/4") with remarkable heft and balance. A bead blasted 3-3/8" hollow ground blade of 420 stainless steel, hardened to 54-55 Rc, makes Top Lock a formidable cutting tool. For swift and responsive handling - but these are not automatics, just touch the flush-mounted push button to disengage the blade from the open or closed positions.
Condition Blade Edge: 10/10 (factory edge) Blade Finish: 10/10 Handle: 9/10 (no marks of any, just judgement on finish from factory) Overall: 9/10
